Self Portrait 2022 - 11x14

I fell in love with this painting by the young and talented, Amari English. I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it. I was so drawn to it and I knew I needed to use it to complete a vision. It has been almost a decade since my last self portrait, and I thought this was the perfect image. The pan-African colors played so perfectly with this image, as the top knot of locs resemble the shape of Africa.
